Ball State -11 vs. Northern Illinois
We are going to an old standby in Ball State as they host NIU, one of the worst teams in the MAC. The Cardinals have won four straight and six of their last seven as they look to be a force in the MAC conference tourney. They have put up at least 80 points per game during this current win streak. The opponent has not done that once this year and is coming off a 70-46 loss at Toledo last time out. They may be without Abdel Nader who is the leading scorer and rebounder. I think the Huskies are just playing out the string.
Illinois State +3 vs. Wichita State
Semifinals of the Missouri Valley Conference features the Shockers and Redbirds. Wichita State has lost two of their last three entering today's proceedings and didn't look great in their win over Missouri State yesterday. They are 2-0 against Ill. State this season including a one point road win back on February 17th. Tyler Brown and Jackie Carmichael are capable of taking over ballgames and will be eager to do so in their senior season. I think they win the game on Saturday.
