Get Some MAACtion

February 01, 2013

Friday nights in college basketball are the time that the Ivy, MAAC and Horizon conferences take centerstage. If there's not a more "Off The Board" kind of day then I don't know what is.

Record: 18-13

Siena +4 vs. Manhattan
This is a hold your nose type game as neither of these two are very good. Siena has won five games with three of them coming since January 11th. They were able to hold serve against Canisius and St. Peter's in early January. These two met on December 9th with the Jaspers winning 75-55. This is a team with four double digit scorers led by O.D. Anosike who also brings down 12 rebounds per game. There's way too much talent for this squad to only have five wins. Manhattan is led by Rhamel Brown who had a big game back in December. They are still trying to get over the loss of leading scorer George Beamon. Money is flying in on Manhattan right now, but i'll take the homestanding Saints.

NCAAB Saints Jaspers

It's not the talent that's the issue, it's the coach! FIRE BUONAGURO!

Mitch tried to give the game away again , slowing it down with a 13 pt. lead with 6 min. left . Jaspers took a 1 pt. lead , but Siena prevailed in spite of the coach !
