Lessons learned after last night. I didn't love anything on the card, but I felt obligated to provide a pick to my loyal followers of the blog. I love all you guys reading this even if it's just my father and somebody who mistakenly was looking for batbomb.com. My specialty is off the board stuff so we'll stick to that and realize there may not be a pick every day.
Record: 15-9
UNLV/Nevada Over 144
This is a late night affair between Mountain West rivals in the same state. The Running Rebels are getting back to their name by playing with a quicker pace so far this season. They have managed to speed up teams in the Thomas and Mack Center this season. Wyoming is one of the few teams who has played at their tempo keeping the game in the 60's. Arguably the best freshman in college basketball is Anthony Bennett from UNLV. He averages 18.4 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game. Nevada doesn't mind playing a little uptempo with Deonte Burton and Malik Story leading the way. They have struggled to score on the road as of late putting up less then 60 in three straight. Before that, they were rolling along. I have a sense this one will be played in the 70's.
